The prominent news anchor Catherine Kit Hoover was born on 29th of July 1970 in Atlanta Georgia. Catherine Hoover graduated with a B.A degree in journalism from University of North Carolina. Catherine Hoover made her career debut in July 1995 when she joined MTV’s Road Rules: USA- The First Adventure as a cast member. Her successful career debut opened new doors for her. Subsquently, she was hired as an entertainment reporter for a nationally syndicated magazine American Journal. After two years, she joined Fox News, where she worked as a correspondent and later as a co-host for Fox Files, The Pulse and Celebrity Spotlight. Besides those programs she had her own program in FOX titled Fox Rules with Kit Hoover. She left Fox News for ESPN in 2003.
During her early days with ESPN, Hoover started as Cold Pizza’s co-host, where she covered some of major sporting events including 2004 Summer Olympics, 2004 Super bowl, 2005 Super bowl, 2004 NBA finals, 2003 World series and 2004 World Series. Moreover, Hoover also worked as a judge on ESPN’s reality contest Dream Job. Like in her previous shows and programs, Hoover's work in ESPN was admirable.
Despite delivering admirable performances in numbers of shows, Hoover along with her co-host from Cold Pizza were replaced by Dana Jacobson and her another show Dream job was cancelled in 2006. The same year marked end of Hoover's association with ESPN as the network failed to agree new role for her.
