Lee Ridley, the 37 year old voiceless comedian, has won Britain’s Got Talent Season 12, becoming the first comedian to win the title.

Fighting for the title were the comedian, Robert White, and singer, Donchez Dacres, who came second and third respectively.

Robert Mandan Dies at 86

American actor, Robert Madan, best known for his role as Chester Tate in ‘Soap’ (1977-81) has died at 86.

The actor passed away on April 29 following a prolonged illness. He was famous for ‘From These Roots,’ ‘The Edge of Night’ and ‘The Doctors.’

Solo Struggles in Second Weekend

Solo: A Star Wars Story’ has brought in just over $29 million in its second weekend box office collection. 

In comparison, ‘Rogue One’ had made $64 million, while ‘The Last Jedi’ had made $71 million in their respective second weekends.

Doctor Who writer in Years and Years

Russell T. Davies, the writer of ‘Doctor Who,’ has joined the show, Years and Years, as a writer. 

Russell’s works include Bob & Rose, Queer as Folk, The Second Coming, Casanova, and the trilogy, Cucumber, Tofu and Banana.

Serena Williams Out of French Open

Just before her fourth round match with Maria Sharapova in the French Open, Serena Williams has backed out of the tournament.

She has suffered a major arm injury which has left her unable to play. She has three French Open titles to her name.

Dolly Parton’s Netflix Project

Lily Tomlin accidentally announced that Dolly Parton is busy with her own Netflix project about her music.

Lily slipped the information when she was asked if Parton will appear in ‘Grace and Frankie.’
