Following the departure of Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes from Fox News due to similar cases of sexual harassment, the network faces yet another embarrassing scandal.

In a radio interview at Oklahoma's KFAQ on April 21, former Fox News contributor Debbie Schlussel accused host Sean Hannity of sexual harassment.

The Fox News host allegedly invited her to his hotel room before and after their show in Detroit. Schlussel reportedly denied his offers and was never invited to his show again.

However, on Monday, Schlussel told NBC News that she never described the inappropriate behavior as “sexual harassment”, it was Hannity who had used the term.

Both of them were scheduled to speak on the Detroit show, but Sean supposedly invited her to a nearby bookstore where Sean was holding a book signing event. At the end of the event, he asked her to come back to his hotel. She refused but once the show was over, Sean tried to get her back to his hotel room again while her father and brother were in the green room.

“After that he called me and yelled at me. It was clear to me that I didn’t go back to his hotel room with him after and I got a very weird feeling about the whole thing, and I kind of knew I wouldn’t be back on his show.”

Hannity has stated that all accusations are false. He also claimed Schlussel to be an attention-seeker in a statement to the Daily News.

“The comments about me on a radio show this week by this individual are 100% false and a complete fabrication,” said the frustrated Fox News host.

Hannity maintained that Schlussel had slandered him and many others over the years and his patience with her was now over. He seems determined to take strict legal measures. He said, “I have retained a team of some of the finest and toughest lawyers in the country who are now in the process of laying out the legal course of action we will be taking against this individual.”

“In this fiercely divided and vindictive political climate I will no longer allow slander and lies about me to go unchallenged, as I see a coordinated effort afoot to now silence those with conservative views,” he said. “I will fight every single lie about me by all legal means available to me as an American.”

Hannity says Schlussel is a "serial accuser"

This isn’t the first time that the former Fox News contributor has tried to drag Sean Hannity through the mud.

"This individual is a serial harasser who has been lying about me for well over a decade. The individual has a history of making provably false statements against me in an effort to slander, smear and besmirch my reputation," said Hannity.

Debbie wrote in a 2010 blog that even less than 4% of the money raised by Hannity’s “Freedom Alliance” were given to the veteran’s family. She accused Hannity wasting the rest of the money charity on luxury expenses. Hannity and his friends denied the allegations.

Schlussel has repeatedly written about Hannity on her blog, along with a 2007 allegation of Hannity plagiarizing her column.

More trouble for ousted Fox CEO Roger Ailes

This new controversy follows recent allegation from former Fox host Alisyn Camerota, who accused Ailes of sexual harassment on April 24. The former CEO was fired from Fox last July after Gretchen Carlson filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him. Several female colleagues have since come forward accusing Ailes of inappropriate behavior.
