New couple alert! According to Us Weekly, Sam Heughan and Amy Shiels are a thing. The Outlander actor and Twin Peaks actress, who have been friends for over a decade, were rumored to be dating in 2014 and 2016.

Rumors originated when the Irish actress liked a fan’s tweet, where the couple was compared to “Brangelina” and shipped as “Samy.” Earlier this month, she quickly grabbed attention after tweeting her opinion that Heughan would be an obvious choice for the next James Bond.
Amy was also seen supporting him at the LA premiere of his new film, The Spy Who Dumped Me, on July 25. The event was followed by them hanging out at Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood.
Previously, Heughan dated the Bold and the Beautiful actress MacKenzie Mauzy from November 2016 till March this year.
