The Best Days of Your Life singer Kellie Pickler and her husband, songwriter Kyle Jacobs, celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary on New Year's Day in 2017. The lovely pair got married on January 1, 2011, after getting engaged on 15th June 2010.

The duo started seeing each other after getting introduced by a mutual friend. Recalling the incident Pickler said to Taste of Country, “I was out with a friend of ours...I look across the room and I see this guy, Kyle; I didn’t know who he was or what he did, and we just locked eyes and I went, ‘I gotta know everything about this person.”

They began writing songs together the very next day and were a couple soon. They dated for two and a half years before getting engaged on the day of Pickler's late grandmother's birthday. She told People, "It was the most spiritual moment. We would’ve gotten married that night had there been a preacher walking by.”

Fans got a closer look at Pickler's married life when she and Kyle starred in their own reality show I Love Kellie Pickler. The CMT show ended its second season in November 2016.

Her husband is a songwriter and music producer who has written songs for Garth Brooks, Trace Adkins, Tim McGraw, Kelly Clarkson, and Craig Morgan. In 2015, Kyle co-produced Pickler's single titled Feeling Tonight.
