Junior Edwards is an American alligator hunter and reality TV personality, best known for appearing on the reality TV series, Swamp People.
He started his career as a professional fisherman before shifting his passion into alligator hunting.
He began appearing in the History’s ‘Swamp People’ in 2010 along with his son, Willie Edwards.
It is a reality TV series about the alligator hunters, based in Southern Louisiana. The show premiered on August 22, 2010.
Despite all of his yelling and screaming nature, he maintains a strong bond with his son.
He appeared on the show until season six. However, just before the premiere of season seven, he was axed from the show.
Demand for more salary was rumored to be the cause of his departure.
However, Junior completely dismissed the rumors showing up on multiple TV interviews and stating he asked for nothing.
The duo of father and son were estimated to be worth $500,000 in 2018.
