Jack Lemmon's early life and education

John Uhler Lemmon III professionally known as Jack Lemmon, is a legendary American actor. Though he is no more in this world, he is still alive for delivering his spectacular performances in numbers of movies, including Some Like It Hot and The Apartment.

This exceptionally talented actor was born on 8th February 1925 in Newton, Massachusetts, United States of America. He was an American by nationality.

His parents were Mildred Burgess LaRue and John Uhler Lemmon, Jr. Regarding his education background, he gained his school education from The Rivers School.

Furthering his educatio, he joined Phillips Academy in 1943 and later completed his graduation from Harvard University in 1947 where he was a member of the several Drama clubs.

Soon after the completion of graduation, he started taking acting seriously. He worked on many television shows, radio, and other Broadways. Lemmon also gained acting knowledge from the coach, Uta Hagen.
