Initiating as the first female host in 1989 on CNN Sports Tonight, she served till 1992 until she left for NBC Sports. While in CNN, she covered spring training, the playoffs & Daytona 500 and hosted Major League Baseball Preview.
Joining NBC, she hosted Olympic Games and also NBA & WNBA basketball, figure skating, National Football League as well as Major League Baseball. She was the only woman to host sports package of network solely when she hosted Major League Baseball games from 1994 till 2000.
