American news journalist Heather Childers began working as an anchor for Fox News Channel in 2010. Since then, she has been widely recognized for appearing as the co-host of America’s News Headquarters and Fox & Friends First. Her long association with Fox News must have certainly contributed to her net worth.
A Charlotte, North Carolina native, Heather launched her career in 1992 from her hometown-based WCNC-TV as a producer and reporter. Three years later, she joined an Albany, Georgia-based Fox affiliate WFXL. She worked as a weekday anchor and news director for the channel.
In 1999, Heather joined an ABC affiliate WLOS-TV in Asheville, North Carolina and left for the newly launched news channel, News 14 Carolina (YNN 14), in 2002.
Heather served YNN 14 for eight years as a weekday evening news anchor, after which she moved to New York to join Fox News Channel in late 2010. Beginning her journey as a general assignment reporter at the FNC, she became a co-host of America’s News Headquarters in August 2011. At present, she also serves as one of the rotating co-hosts for Fox & Friends First.
On Fox News Channel, Heather has reported several major stories, including live coverage of 2013 Al-Qaeda terror threats that caused US embassies in the Middle East to close and Asiana Flight 214’s crash-landing at San Francisco International Airport.
Working for the Fox News Channel for over six years, Heather must be receiving a huge paycheck from the channel. Her true salary has not been revealed but she is reported to have an estimated net worth of $3.5 million.
