Apart from being his daughter’s hero, Brian has also been a real-life hero by saving lives. In 2008, the former football star helped rescue a woman who was trapped in a ditch after her mini-SUV rolled over near Falcon Lake. He was fishing in the area with his son at the time.
A year later, Brian came to the rescue of an unconscious man in the Putnam City West High School parking lot, where he had spoken to students about drunk driving. He performed CPR until an ambulance arrived at the scene.
With heroic acts like these, he has stripped his image as a controversial star athlete and made headlines by saving lives. Brian has truly turned his life around, from calling himself an "anti-hero" to being a real hero. In early 2016, 27 years after his infamous conflict, he even buried the hatchet with Bo Jackson.
