Derek Travis was passionate about cars since his early age. After meeting his ex-wife, Christina Tessneer at the age of 16, Derek was obsessed about racing. Later, he met Daddy Dave who took Derek under his wings and helped him learn more about cars and racing. Together, Daddy Dave and Derek customized several cars, including Derek’s 1986 Camero which was later named Silver Unit. He became the part of the Street Outlaws in 2013.
