In 2012, Denny Hamlin won the Advocare 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. With this win, he became the first racer of the year to have back-to-back wins as he had won at Phoenix International Raceway, Kansas Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway and later at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
