Success began paving Daniel Lissing's way after joining Last Resort cast
Daniel first graced the TV screen in 2001 through SBS’s Pizza. He portrayed the role of a cop in the fifth season’s episode “GirlFriend Pizza.” Afterward, he endured a dry spell for almost five years before re-launching himself through Australian soap opera Home and Away in 2006. He played the role of firefighter Dave Elder in a total of 34 episodes of the series.
Following the soap opera, Daniel continued to contribute as an episode actor for various shows including Out of the Blue (2008), Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities (2009) and Cops L.A.C. (2010) before bagging a recurring role in ABC1’s drama series Crownies (2011).
He took on the role of Tatum Novak’s fiancé Conard De Groot, which provided him with an immense career exposure and landed the sought after role of James King in ABC’s Last Resort a year later.
