Sacramento Kings became one of the league's top franchises after Chris Webber joined the team. He was named to the All-Star team again in 2000 and 2001 while retaining his status as one of the premier power forwards in the NBA. Despite having a good record all season, The Kings had a game 4 loss to the Lakers. This prompted Chris to rethink his continuation to the team.

He was then encouraged by Laker Shaquille O'Neal, which made him re-sign his contract with the team. In the next season, The Kings lost a nail-biting game to the Lakers which was the closest that Webber ever got to a championship. They lost a deciding game 7 consecutively. He then went on to play for the Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, and the Warriors again until he officially retired from his career as a basketball player in 2008.

The following year, he made an appearance on Inside the NBA on TNT, alongside Charles Barkley and host Ernie Johnson. He is presently an analyst on NBA TV's NBA Gametime Live. Along with that, he has also invested in companies that represent basketball and football players, real estate, and film projects. He also owned a restaurant that closed down in 2009. He was a producer to singer Nas's track Surviving the Times from his Greatest Hits album and Blunt Ashes from the album Hip Hop Is Dead and currently states to be working on his book.

With a professional career that spanned over a decade, Chris has been able to make quite a fortune. He has reportedly made over $176 million with his NBA career alone. His current net worth amounts to $275 million. Despite stirring many controversies during his career, Chris Webber is still regarded as a legendary figure in basketball history. Even though he has retired from his professional basketball career, he continues to win hearts through his entrepreneurship and involvement in charities. He continues enjoying his stardom with his TV appearance and musical involvement. We cannot wait to get our hands on his upcoming book and discover more about the amazing athlete.
