In the course of time, Catherine’s son Peter was examined in Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. After waiting for months to find a suitable donor, the doctor gave them a hope that Catherine could be suitable for the transplant. Catherine agrees and donated a part of her liver to her dying baby.
