Following her very fist perfomance in Nutcracker, she took weekly acting lessons with retired director and producer, Martin Beck. Shortly thereafter, she gave first audition at the Young Actors Studio and was signed by the Osbrink agency. Subsquently, Management 360 signed her.
Molly's first acting work came in 2007 music comedy movie titled Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story where she appeared in a minor role. In 2009, she got selected to play the role of Paula in the comedy drama movie My One and Only. That same year, she showed up in other two movies Disney's A Christmas Carol and The Sacrifice.
Her first breakthrough performance came in the crime comedy-drama series Castle. She impressed all audiences by delivering remarkable performance as Alexis Castle in the popular series. Molly was a part of the series alsongside main cast members Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion since it aired on ABC on 9th March 2009. The popular series' last episode was aired on 16th May 2016.
She became more popular after making an appearance in the Disney Channel original movie titled Avalon High. Other than giving few exceptional on-screen performances, she also gained wide appreciation for providing the voice of Princess Bloom in the Italian animated TV series Winx Club. She did an excellent voice work for the animated series for three years.
Molly has recently appeared in 2016 released comedy movie titled Welcome to Happiness where she did exceptional job portraying the character of Lillian. The premier of the movie was launched at Newport Beach Film Festival just a year before the movie got released in 2015.
