Brendan Fraser is a Canadian-American actor, best recognized for his appearancein the hit movie franchise, The Mummy, as Rick O’Connell. As a successful actor, Fraser’s impressive net worth has been an interest to many of his fans.

Career in movies and TV series

Brendan Fraser made his first television appearances with a brief role in 20th Television’s America’s Most Wanted. In 1991, he made his career debut with a small role in the film, Dogfight. Fraser earned his first leading role in 1992 comedy film, Encino Man. For next few years, he starred in the movies like School Ties, The Passion of Darkly Noon, Airhead, and The Twilight of the Gold which made a limited success.

However, Fraser made the breakthrough of his career after starring in the film, The George of the Jungle in 1997. Following the success, he starred the American action fantasy movie, The Mummy, in 1999. The movie earned him the biggest commercial hit of his career. He was also featured in its sequel; The Mummy Returns in 2001.

Continuing his enhancing career, he starred in several other movies, most notably, Gods and Monsters Dudley Do-Right, Blast from the Past Bedazzled, Monkeybone, The Quiet American, and Crash. He also made guest appearances on the several television shows, including Scrubs, King of the Hill and The Simpsons. After a long hiatus of the franchise, Fraser returned for the second sequel to 1999 film, The Mummy, in 2008 titled The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.

More recently, Fraser is busy working on his upcoming projects. He is currently working on the television series, Trust, and Condor which are both set to air somewhere in 2018. Additionally, he is also working on an upcoming filmBehind the Curtain of Night and a Bollywood thriller, The Field which is set to premiere in 2018.

Along with his astounding performances, Fraser has also received impressive paychecks throughout his career. He earned a total sum of $1.5 million for his performance in the movie, The Scout. Similarly, Fraser bagged $4 million for The Mummy in 1999.

Additionally, he earned a lucrative amount of $10 million for Bedazzled in 2000 and impressive $12.5 million for The Mummy Returns in 2001. However, his most noticeable paycheck was for The Mummy’s second sequel where he received a grand total of $14 million. As of 2018, Fraser has accumulated an enormous net worth of $20 million.

In late 2007, Fraser and his ex-wife, Afton Smith announced their divorce. Following the separation, Fraser has been forced to pay alimony and child support payments to his wife.
