While people are familiar with the bikes that are showcased in the show, many are unaware of the building process.
Here are the facts about the bikes that are built by Orange County Choppers.
Orange County Choppers seldom creates the same design for two bikes. Every bike is different and has its own unique features.
Sr.’s team can only build the maximum of two bikes in a month. It is not unprecedented as each bike deserve special attention.
The average cost of the bikes built in OCC is between $50,000 to $150,000.
Sr. wants the bikes to be built in traditional way, however, he can make a consideration if the client insists.
This might be a little surprising that OCC also builds electric bikes. In fact, one of their bikes holds the record in the quarter mile race.
The builders source some major parts like engine, brake system and suspension from other suppliers.
The owners can be involved in every part of the production process from fabrication to design preference.
Before they start a project, they require half the money as down payment for materials and other works.
The clients can see the colors, designs and styling of the bike prior to their completion via 3D rendering.
