Earhardt’s initial work experience came in 2000 as a reporter at the South Carolina based television station WLTX-News 19. While working there, she served as both morning and noon anchor for four years. After a few years of work experience, Ainsley got appointed as an anchor of weekday newscasts KENS-TV show Eyewitness News This Morning in San Antonio. She also anchored another show called Eyewitness News at Noon.

On 16th February, 2016, she became the host of daily morning news show Fox & Friends. While working for the morning news show, she rose in popularity for covering major news events. Besides her popular show, Fox & Friends, Ainsley has also hosted various shows like Fox and Friends Weekend, America’s News Headquarters and Fox’s All-American New Year’s Eve.

Her net worth saw a significant increase in 2016 because of the sales of her successful children’s book, Take Heart, My Child: A Mother’s Dream. In an interview with The State, she said, “I want my daughter, and all children who read this book, to know she can ‘take heart’ and know she will always be loved unconditionally.”
