Adam Lallana is an English football player who plays as an attacking midfielder for Liverpool F.C. and English national team. Since debuting in 2013, he has made over 20 appearances for England and has represented the country in 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2016 UEFA European Championship.

Adam Lallana was born to David Lallana and Sharon Lallana on May 10, 1988, in St. Albans, Hertfordshire. Growing up in Bournemouth, he studied at the Corpus Christi School and St. Peter's Catholic Comprehensive School. He is of Spanish descent.
As a child, he was a fan of Everton just like his father. He idolized Juventus and Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane. In his early childhood, Adam trained at the Bournemouth Center of Excellence before joining Southampton's youth academy.
A scout from Southampton changed Adam's life
Adam joined Southampton's Saints Academy in 2000 after he was spotted by a talent scout. He was 12-year old then and received a scholarship and professional contracts. He represented the club in FA Youth Cup in the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons.
In July 2006, he made it to the first team and debuted on 23 August in the game against Yeovil Town in the League Cup; Southampton won 5-2. He briefly moved to Bournemouth on loan but returned to Southampton, following which he scored his first professional goal against West Bromwich Albion on 28 April 2008.
Southampton renewed Lallana's contract, first in 2008 for three years, and in 2011 for four years. His most goals in a season (20) came in the 2009-10 season which was followed by 11 and 13 goals in the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.
The midfielder was a member of England Under-18s, Under-19s, and Under-21s. He earned his first appearance on the English senior team against Chile in a friendly match at Wembley Stadium in 2013 which England lost 2-0. His performance, however, gained positive reviews and became a team regular. He has represented his country in various championships afterward.
Lallana was a regular player for Southampton when the club upgraded to Premier League in the 2012-13 season. He scored 13 goals in Premier League and 60 goals in total for Southampton before transferring to Liverpool in July 2014 at a $25 million offer. At Liverpool, Adam has scored 20 goals in 121 appearances.
Lallana pulls a salary of £65,000 per week from the club as per his contract which will expire in 2019. Adam is on the path to greater glory under Liverpool's manager Jurgen Klopp but injuries could prove fatal to his career. He has missed 35 games till date because of various injuries, 10 of them being in the 2016/17 season alone.

Adam married his long-time girlfriend Emily Jubb on 24 December 2013 after dating for seven years. The couple initially had planned their wedding on 14 June 2014, but the date coincided with the England-Italy match in the World Cup.
The couple together has two sons Arthur Michael and Albie George. Their first son Arthur was born on 26 September 2012, and their younger son was born on 3 June 2015.
