Andrew Goldberg best known by his professional name, A.J Hammer, is an American television and radio personality.  He was born on October 31, 1966. Currently, he serves as the host of CNN the HLN evening entertainment show, Showbiz Tonight. Hammer began his career in broadcasting at the young age of 15 with WNBC radio in New York City. While in college he worked at WTIC-FM in Hartford, Connecticut and later worked for Z-100 (WHTZ) radio and WPLJ radio, both in New York City. During the 90s, he hosted VH1's Top 10 Countdown. He has also hosted Court TV's Hollywood Heat, a program focusing on crime and justice in the entertainment industry, from 2001 to 2005. Hammer was a correspondent for various programs like Good Day New York, Extra and E! channel's News Live. He also hosted several programs on Sirius Satellite Radio. He attended White Plains High School  and graduated from University of Hartford in 1988 with a degree in philosophy. Besides that, he has modeled for the book Heartthrob: A Hundred Years of Beautiful Men, The Mane Thing, the October 1999 issue of Gym magazine and in the Debbie Gibson's "What You Want" music video.

Hammer started his career in 1982. In his career spanning over two decades, he started from the bottom his paved a way to the top. His hard work and dedication has not only made him famous but also fortunate. He has worked hard to establish himself as one of the TV personalities. By now, he has accumulated a good sum of money.
